A Little Substance is All I'm Asking

I am sure you have heard of this new tv show, Paris Hilton's My New Bff. Yes, people have really stooped this low. If you need a television show to find a friend, you, my friend, have a problem. This is disgusting. I refuse to watch it. I heard from a somewhat hip substitute the other day, that on the first episode, the contestants were given make-overs. How grossly shallow. I did a little research and of course most of them were given platinum blonde Pamela Anderson hair. They even have competitions like "How Long and Hard Can You Party?" and play polo while using bare-chested, herpes-ridden-looking men as horses.

The Apprentice used to be my show... until the Trump man decided to move it to Los Angeles. WAY TO KILL EVERYTHING. "How about the losing team has to sleep outside in tents!?" is what I am guessing Donald Trump said to his posse because this is what happens now instead of them just staying in the apartment like they did during the other seasons. How lame. I thought Donald was supposed to be the epitomy of a buisness man? Obviously not.

I can't even begin to explain how much this disgusts me-- I Love Money. Just shoot me already.

I Love Money is the most ridiculous show EVER. But I'm thinking Paris Hilton's New BFF is way worse... Haha

I overheard a few girls talking about this new show, and I was APPALLED by the sound of it. I can't believe that there are actually mindless people out there that idolize people like Paris Hilton, who get their popularity and lovers only because they have their daddy's money to spend and blonde hair.

I like some reality shows like Top Model and Project Runway but most of them I refuse to watch, these three below included.
Have a great weekend dear :)

Ah I'm in total agreement, TV has gone down the drains, so trashy and shallow these days. And oh I know, I used to love "The Apprentice" too, but it totally lost it's sophistication these last few years. :(

Thanks for your comment by the way, always love hearing from you! :)

Yeah, I can't really say that I'm a fan... I mean, these days I'm lucky if I even get to watch TV! lol

And thank you so much for the great comment!

I couldn't agree with you more! I use to watch this stuff just for a laugh but i refuse to support it any longer! There are too many things in the world that deserve our attention and Paris is definitely not one!

I haven't seen BFF or I love Money but I'm not surprised that we've hit an all time low.

Very sad commentary. We need to start requesting quality programming and hopefully this junk will just go away!
