Viva la Vida

As I said in a previous post, I am on vacation in Costa Rica with my family. Today, we went to Manuel Antonio National Park to see all the tropical animals that live here. I was walking with our 12-person tour group and found myself seperated from my family. I looked to my left and noticed I was walking next to this 50-something year lady. She had very tan, blotchy skin from years of sun damage and wore those official "travelers clothes". You know, with the cargo pants and neutral colored outfits. She turned and smiled at me and before I knew it, she was telling me about her experiences in Tunisia, Patagonia, Australia, and more. I was only half-listening however, I more more focused on how I wanted to be like her one day. To really experience life and not let fears and worries hold you back. To learn about other cultures. I don't even know what this woman's name was, and she probably doesn't know mine, but man was she cool. Little does she know that I will remeber her forever.
